My greatest desire as a hairdresser is that when a client leaves my chair they are not only thrilled with
the results but that they feel a renewed sense of confidence and authenticity in who
they are and how they represent themselves to the world and to themselves.

my story in a nut shell

My hairdressing journey started long before beauty school—back when I was thirteen, turning my twin brother into my first muse. I’d cut his hair into an ‘80s wedge (somewhere between Flock of Seagulls and Risky Business), pop the collar of his denim jacket just so, load the lapel with buttons, and photograph him like I was Annie Leibovitz on a San Marcos backstreet. I was hooked.

By eighteen, I made it official—cosmetology school in 1988—and I’ve spent the last 30+ years honing my craft, owning and selling two salons (including the first eco-certified salon in San Luis Obispo), working alongside some of the Central Coast’s most talented stylists, and building a loyal clientele who’ve become dear friends.

I specialize in textured, lived-in haircuts and multi-dimensional color—but the real magic is in connection. My goal is that you leave my chair not only loving your hair, but feeling more confident, authentic, and lit up from within.

Today, you’ll find me working out of Love Street Studio in Morro Bay—a creative enclave where art, style, and individuality meet. Stocked with clean, non-toxic products like OWay Organics and Cult + King, it’s an intimate, one-on-one experience where we collaborate, create, and celebrate beauty in all its forms.

I can’t wait to meet you.
